Kathleen Fuegen earned her Ph.D. in social psychology with a minor in quantitative psychology in 2002 from the University of Kansas. She teaches courses in social psychology, organizational psychology, and research methods. Her earlier research is in the areas of judgment, decision making, and stereotyping. Many of her publications address how factors such as gender, race, solo status, or parenthood affect perceptions of work-related competence. More recent research addresses how exercise and environment affect mood, cognition, restoration, and pain perception.
